Hello everyone.. just curious on exactly how to wire up a basic aftermarket tachometer- one from like Autozone or something. I know usually "green to distributor" ground etc. etc. but where on the justy do i wire it in? motors all wrapped up at the moment so i havent had a chance to look/figure it out myself.. would like the head-knowledge before hand.. 1993 justy 2wd 5 spd. Id really like to get one in there.. would be nice to know.. haha and also.. just curious of where everyone thinks would be a good spot to put it- any creative locations etc. its just going to be a small one..

Really, your car doesn't have a stock tach? I have never seen such a car..
In any event, there is more than likely a wire going to the gauge cluster marked "TACH" on the printed board. If it's not marked, maybe somebody here has that diagram..? If not I will try to pull one at work today.
The interior of the Justy gives you very few options for mounting gauges, your best best may be underneath the gauge cluster bezel where there are little phillips screws. My oil pressure gauge is currently underneath my ash tray, and looks fine, but it's a little hard to see.

You have never seen a Justy DL? They do not come with a factory tach. I found one tach that said it worked with a 3cyl - and it does. I used it as a tuning tool as my '93 DL was in pretty bad shape when I got it. The tach was around $35 from Amazon, and I used a single wire-tap on the green distributer wire to feed the tach signal, and wired the rest of the tach to the headlight and a switched 12v circuit. It was really simple. You are right, not many places to put it - but I stuck it on the side of my cluster. It was never really in the way, and I really liked having it. I thought I posted about my install here on the board, but couldn't find it in my first search. I will try again later on.
