So basically, now that the original battery is back in and now she's NOT dying while I'm driving it, it's like......why did she die in the first place?

So basically, now that the original battery is back in and now she's NOT dying while I'm driving it, it's like......why did she die in the first place? Battery 101, As a battery ages it sheds lead off of the plates which build up in the bottom of the battery case. When the deposits get high enough they short out the cells, causing the charge to eat itself away, Large capacity batteries in a small case do this sooner and thus are not a good value, A large case battery that has a moderate to small CCa rating is a better value as it will last much longer.

Reading through your other thread... er which ever one. Hard to follow, it would help if you kept everything in one place.
I'm with Spongebob on the potential of bad connections somewhere... bad ground clamps, bad clamps at the battery, bad connections to the clamps. You said you put on new clamps. What type? The typical thin with a bolt down plate you set the stripped wire into?
But again, you haven't said what output voltage is...

I would test your newer but now not used battery by charging it at a low rate (2amps) over a good say 12 hour period . Then verify the charge in the battery, recheck it every 12 hours and I bet it will be less till it is totally discharged after a day or 2. Make sure it is sitting on a 2x4 or some other such non conductive wooden surface. Battery's left on a concrete surface will discharge by themselves as well! Buy a new Battery!!

Thoughts -purchase Justeva in redmond, OR -drive into sisters, OR "What? Overheated? Ok..." "What?? Now she needs a jump?? -other side of sisters "What? Now she died while just driving down the road???" -bought new bimart battery; gave a perkier startup "Overheated(-on the pass, after gf stopped for a picture)? Well, alright." -started right up after around 15 minutes, drove from pass to mckenzie river bridge "SHE PASSED OUT AGAIN? ?" -towed in the next day (a day later) "Ok, so she needs a jump, but/and its not holding a charge, at all..." -drop off BOTH batteries at knechts to charge "Ok, fresh charge on the new battery, farcle yeah........what?? You're gonna choke out in the middle of the intersection?? -jump and drive home, no tried to turn over, no turnover

I hate my phone. So, no turnover... "Alright, new oil, alternator is good, for an 89 Mitsubishi, let's try this.......ok, you started up but now you're squeeking".... -Immediately replace alternator belt *after an hour of driving* "I'm finally driving it for real??.......k......not choking at low rpms....alrighty..... ....what?? Why aren't you starting back up??" -purchase personal battery charger, charge overnight "Hey son, how was school?.........what?? She died four times and I haven't even made it out of junction city? ??" -remove foglight wiring from battery, charge battery "Ok. Dead after all day of driving...." -charge battery - charge battery -charge battery.... "Dead at the gas station, ok, guess I'll get those clamps on, what the hell is going on with my car...." -replace clamps, put in the old battery "What??....you haven't died, at all, after three days of driving???"

Sorry Bizarro, But "SHE PASSED OUT AGAIN" and "you're gonna choke out in the middle of the intersection" leave all types of room for interpretation It makes it very hard to diagnose with such vague comments. "It suddenly died in the middle of the intersection, between shifts, and would not turn over" is so much different then "It suddenly died in the middle of the intersection, and when I tried to start it, it turned over, but wouldn't start" and different again from "It sputtered to a stop, I tried to restart and it turned over slowly while hissing and steaming".... Get it? So give us details, or you'll just get random guesses. And you last comment -replace clamps, put in the old battery
"What??....you haven't died, at all, after three days of driving???"
leaves us to believe the problem is sorted since you changed clamps and the battery, and all is well in your JSTEVA world. For what it's worth, those clamps suck. Should be banned from existence (I still have a few) these are the bee's knees... www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Battery-Cable-Compression-Terminal-Quick-Connect-Straight-Compression-Terminal/_/R-NW_728068_0063685610

When did I say " between shifts" and "sputtered to a swamp"?? She was overheated and needed a jump the first time, died while driving in sisters, made it to 50m from here before she passed out*not sputtering to a stop* she farcleing died at 74 mph!! And then after that, she only "died at low rpm at the intersection AKA "IDLE" and after THAT she only COULD NOT TURN OVER are you TRYING to piss me off???

bizarro,
i know you're imaginarious... but don't expect everyone to read your intro and know how you are.
i am not trying to piss you off at all! just trying to get the facts.
i wasn't quoting you, i was trying to show you how your comments could use more description so we can help you.
trying to diagnose problems "over the internet" is hard enough. best to provide the most accurate info you can, and respond in an easy to understand manner, otherwise we are just guessing.
take a breath, think about it, and when you get a chance try to get those voltage numbers. even a multi meter on the passenger seat will work.

Madmatt..
My sincere apologies. Having anxiety and other issues, the kind that I have, you basically get taken over with frustration and it freakin sucks. I'm a nice guy, I'm non-confrontational hell I've never even been in a fight in my entire life. You just...lose control sometimes, and then it turns into...a serious joke...lol...*sigh* people like me seem to be subjected to far more "patience" tests in life.....after a while, you can only take so many deep breaths before you start to hyperventilate. Which to me, is the physical schematics of a panic attack--your body takes over, forces you to "take deep breaths" until you ultimately....sometimes. ..have a seizure. My genes.....i shake my head. So I am sorry. I know you were just doin your thing. I just felt like I was repeating myself lol....so yeah. I'm sorry.
Passenger seat?
