you are going to need every wire from the front of the car to the tail lights.
I've done this swap...
don't even think of doing it without the donor car sitting outside the garage to go look at.
It's a pile of work, and unless you want a turbo, it's probably not worth that much work.
If you want more power fromt he carbed engine. Pick up 3 Motorcycle carbs, get a cam, and do it that way

no carb im going for the turbo. what do you think would be easier taking a 92 with efi an automatic and 2wd and convert it to a 5 speed awd using the 88 awd 5 speed as the donor. or swapping the efi engine and wire harness from the 92 into the 88. my goal here is to have an awd manual, turbo justy, just trying to figure out the best way with what i have thanks. Please dont think i am blowing smoke. i have built many other projects of smaller and bigger size and difficulty. Im just real new to the world of justy's and i am learning how interchangeable parts are from year to year. thanks for your help.

I have converted two ecvt's to 5spd cars 1was 4wd the other was 2wd . I think I would go with the tranny swap into the 92 that way allyour wiring works all you have to wire is the backup lights and the 4wd button/control module. I do agree though it is alot of work.
