I learned from watching top gear that an easy way to remove water from a flooded car is to shoot a hole in the floor pan with a rifle. (Africa Special)

just open doors and let water out! ;D did my 64 chevy van like that once in stream, opened doors and had all the trash cleaned out in no time ;D, Aaron
