Anyone know if the 4wd Justys ever came with a LSD rear diff???

As far as I know, they are all open diffs, but you can change them with a LSD with some fitting. There are people using WRX diffs, like the Turboman.ca and the guy in NZ.

I have ALLDATA at school (College) and in '89 there is an RS and some other model. For one of the 2, there was 2 gear oil specifications, one for LSD and one for open. ALLDATA has lied to me before so don't take this information as a garantee.
Most people say just weld the spiders together.

i a have a 88 RS and it is a open diff, wrx swap would be cool

i wouldnt recoment a welded diff for normal road driving, it will eat rear tyres because of the inside wheel turning slower than the outside when cornering. to be honest i cant see there being any need in a welded diff unless your justy is a pure off roader. limited slip would be nice though...
