Hi. I'm new to this forum.
As Dutch is my mother tongue I might make some spelling and grammar mistakes, please forgive me. I want to buy a Justy 1.2 ECVT 4WD which wont drive. The engine runs, but no drive. The owner swapped the CVT for another one, still the same problem. I wonder what it can be. I downloaded a lot of manuals from Dusty about two or three years ago because I own a Justy 1.0 ECVT 2WD. Read about switches, cables and stuff but want to seek advice from you guys before I buy the car - or not. I'm a good mechanic with quite some years experience, although my experience is a bit dated. I stopped working in car repair shops 25 years ago. Not much electronics in those days.
Please help me out.
Kind regards, Witte.

Welcome Witte, your english perfect First and easiest is to make sure you have Tranny fluid, then take the brushes out from under the starter to see if they are worn out, also make sure the computer control for the ecvt under the dash is hooked up .... just for starters.

Hi Gearheadeh & all the rest.
The owner of the car that I want to buy emailed me that he sold the car to someone else. Thanks anyway for your advise.
Witte.
