After almost year of searching I finally find and buy used molding for my Justy.
It has horrible bad red paint
so it needs to be repainted(matt black of course).
And the car does not looks good too...
Here it is on right and concept is on left.
but the condition of the one I brought changes this plan...
So new one was this one:
I start scratching that ugly paint off...
And than clean it up with sand paper
Than cames a bit of body filler in spray.
That was biggest scratch right on original SUBARU sticker.
And the scratch is gone.
So red stripe needs to bee created
But I use Germany quality paint so it ends extremely horrible... I am fixing it for more than 3 weeks and plans needs to be changed again...
So that is last plan:
Here I am trying what could matt black cover...
It looks good enough...
After that I try to make numberplate lights more glowing so I paint it with silver metallic paint in here:
Actually it is not bad idea but it is if the paint is not dry enough to flip it on it...
Piece of newspaper sticks in the paint...
So another 1 week of fixing...
As you can see I start preparing the part of gate that gonna be painted with that silver metallic paint...
That goes a bit wrong too...
But I fix it some way
It looks good than...
Now numberplate lights glows more than tail lights
I give it some week or two for proper dry and than I stick on badges and post here photo with them than
