I have a 92 4wd manual transmission. If I get going more than 2 or 3 mph, it locks up and wont move? Can anybody help me figure what this might be?

When did this start happening? Does it make a difference if you put it in neutral? Does the car stop dead or is there just a lot of resistance?

Does it make any noise when it happens? Do the engine revs go up?
Also, if it's a manual this is not the right place to post. The ecvt it the automatic transmission

It almost sounds like the car is in 4wd and you are locking up from torquebind on a dry paved road surface. Confirm the car is not in 4wd, and I dont mean from the switch. It is possible for some reason it shifted into 4wd.
