Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a CC and wondering if I could install it into my Subaru for a road trip to NY. If any of you know where to find a diagram of electrical, that'll be great.
Let me know.
Thanks in advanced!

It would be possible to install an aftermarket kit, but it seems like a lot of work for something so small... :/

I have one installed, but its not debugged yet. And I am not sure it can be installed on a stick as I had to use the clutch pedal pass through to run the cable. Ive driven the Justy 250 miles without a break and it was really comfortable.

Yeah...that's what I'm wondering about the wiring to CC system but anyway I just thought the couple of clay bricks with each it own weights for specific MPH, ie; 2 lbs for 55 and 2.5 lbs for 70 mph...something like that. BUMP...anyone still know where to get a diagram for CC???

It was an after market universal unit that uses a stepper motor to control the throttle.
Ive driven the car on 400 mile trips. Its not a chore as far as the gas pedal but quite buzzy

The one thing that rings a bell is an old volvo vacuum controlled cruise control system. The kind that came installed by the dealer, not the factory. It has a very simple system, and you can go to a junkyard and get everything in one shot.

But it would need a vacuum pump like the older soobys used.

Might be a pain to find but 82-85 diesel toyota pickups and some cars had electric vacuum pumps.

Thanks for some inputs on where/kind to get. When I get one, how can I install it? Also should I get a cruise control button or stick or whatever it called?
