Anyone no what the factory offset is of a 88 4x4? I have a nice factory 1988 rim only that I just measured. I put a board across the rim on the backside and measured to the mounting surface: 4 and 1/8 inchs or about 105 mm.

I put a board across the rim on the backside and measured to the mounting surface: 4 and 1/8 inchs or about 105 mm. So that would be "backspacing". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To find offset you should lay the wheel face down, lay a straightedge across the wheel and measure from the mounting surface to the underside of the straightedge. Then subtract half the wheel's width from the number you measured and you've got your offset.
