I am looking to get new tires for my 88 4wd and i would love to stay at 12" but it seems almost impossible to find tires. there is only one type on tirerack.com and i am looking for a set of stud-able tires. if anyone has a lead on where i can get some i would greatly appreciate it.

Jared I don't know about studded or studdable tires in a 12". I have a set of unused studded 12s that were a gift to me and I just got a set of studdable Winter 12s too. Regular 12" tires are pretty easy to get in Washington. I buy them at Les Schwab and have seen them at Discount Tire and other Puget Sound chain-stores. If I were you I would just call a bunch of places in the greater Seattle and Portland areas and when you find which ones you want I will get them for you. Either I can ship them to ya or we can make it an excuse to road trip to San Francisco for delivery. . . the Thai food in S.F. is amazing!
