hi there well i got this broken on my 92 justy... i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm163/Papcina/Justy%202/DSCN2778.jpgit's on the rear left wheel... i would weld it but currently i'm not in possibility.. can someone tell me if i can drive normally with this or no? i'm using this justy in woods only so if it breaks completely no problem, but still... thanks

Whats broken, mate? The rubber under the spring? Do you mean that you would weld the spring in place? How did it happen or did you just notice that it was broken?
Drive normally or drive as you normally do? ;D
As that rubber wears out and breaks away it gets more and more likely that whilst abusing you Justy through the woods that spring will fall out when the wheel drops quickly to a great enough distance from the car. Or you might just hear a loud creaking of metal against metal once the rubber is gone.

Looks like the sway bar mount is snapped off the control arm, Danimal. papcina you should be able to drive around still, aside from an annoying clacking noise and improper suspension articulation. Your sway bar is meant to prevent body roll by using the opposing, or loaded, control arm's movement and push it against the unloaded control arm, evening out the force applied. That being said, all 1st generation cars don't even have one. Maybe take the sway bar off so you don't run into more issues like something binding up. Terry

i've round the broken part... i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm163/Papcina/Justy%202/DSCN2778-1.jpgArmageddous.. yea, i would say it's a sway bar too but i dont know exactly the english terms anyway, at the moment i'll drive as nothing happened.. in a week or two ill get back the welding machine so i'll try to weld it.. so far when driving i hear only the ticking noise but that's all... thanks for help

got the welding machine.. but, when i tried to put the sway bar in the place i saw it was impossible cos it has been deformed somehow so i didn't weld it... instead i just took off the last small piece of the sway bar that was broken so now it doesn't make any ticking sound while driving... i'll leave it like this, for woods and white roads, it doesn't make a big difference (i hope)

It's a small world, ain't it? Same thing happened to me once. I took the little piece off and then on the bench, I did some welding of tabs and stuff that I drilled holes through and also holes in the "a-arm" thingy, and put a bolt ( or two? can't exactly recall now.) then I welded the bottom edge of it to the 'A-arm" thingy. I knew I couldn't weld it on the car all around enough to make it stick. I would have just bodgered it to try that. but it seems some bolts and a bit of welding was enough. maybe this can be done on yours? One thing to help you is to make a paper mock-up of what you need to do in metal. then duplicate in the metal. It might fit pretty good that way. Hope this helps you.

could you weld up some kind of a clamp like a muffler clamp, or a spring clamp and bolt it around the outside of the swing arm? you might add a little piece of rubber under it to get the strain spread out?
