hi there
i would like to hear an opinion from you guys... what kind of rims you use on your justy? well i have a 4x4 justy, which i drive 50% roads and 50% offroads on mud, woods and rocks... so, what is better for offroading? i suppose steel, cos even if i hit a rock the rim can still be repaired... right?

Maybe. I've had steel rims dented by rocks that vibrate at speed. No bother, they're plentiful and look the part for offroad. Besides, they come with the car anyways and the Stones named an album in dedication...

i run volkswagen rabbit 13" mags, a wee bit lighter, they look better(cause thats what its all about, right....). Never had a problem. if you can damage an alumminum rim offroading a justy, you should maybe consider an old Land Rover or Land Cruiser. The 13" vw mags are cheap, though the centers must be machined a little bit to fit the 4x4 hub.....

yea im there with motorhomemikes lol but of couse alloy rims are going to be alot stronger but expensive. lol i had a 89 jeep yj and i ran steelies on it for crawling but non the less they dont last as long sure you can bang it back to place with a hammer but then it would only last you so long so then now i have up'ed to procomp extremes which was alot better than before alot stronger and held its place on rocks. but enough jeep talk if your not gonna be rock crawling with the justy i think your set buddy lol steelies is nice way to go i plan on painting mine to match just like justymatt.(sorry if im a biter but it looks so good lol ) www.subarujusty.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wheelsandtires&action=display&thread=3437cheers! -scoobiemate209
