I thought you all would appreciate seeing this... I sold my '88 parts car to a kid a few miles away who needed the tranny for a lifted justy. I got some good pictures of it.... and he promised he'd let me know when it was up and running again. the front end had some 1" rubber shims under the suspension crossmember, that was it as far as I could tell. the rear had some square tube bolted between the suspension crossmember and the body, plus some other spacers between the diff support and the body. also note the ghetto spacer used to lift the strut up a bolt hole in relation to the rear hub... I wonder how long this tranny will last.... thaddeus

I forgot to mention, the tires are 28" on 14's. dunno where they came from... they look new compared to the rest of the car - they might be new aftermarkets.... I have known lots of guys around here who find work at the tire shop SOLELY for the purpose of supporting their rubber habit...
also on a related note, the guy is only taking the tranny and front axles from that white '88, if anyone wants other parts from it I could probably get them. the doors and hatch are straight, the rear cv's are good, I already took the drums and backing plates, exhaust is good, engine turns fine and belched a little but I didn't have it timed right. lots of good parts and he doesn't want any of them... thaddeus

I remember a few months back, closer to a year ago that was posted on craigs list, good to see he got it runing again. Is that engine carb or fuel injected.
