If I have a 91 2wd manaul, why does it have a ECVT light on my guages? I thought we covered this, that my car doesn't have this...

Aha! I have seen a couple of these in my area. ECVT to 5-speed conversions are not uncommon. The ECVT is well known for its problems, namely fragility, intolerance to leglect and poor availability of service parts & technicians. If it was done correctlt then you might have an arguably better car now than it was as standard.
Or maybe somebody put an ECVT guage cluster in your car....

You dork...hehe
So, any problems after swap? Well, I'll take a picture of the cluster within a few days, so..but why would the light come on(just when starting the motor, you know) if there is no ECVT?

Hmmm... ECVT to 5 Spd would require block swap or block customization also, right? I got some cool ECVT brochures with the #89-B! car will post them up upon scanning...
Cheers,
