Hey. I'm having trouble locating the wires for my rear speakers. My subaru justy only came with front speakers installed (in the dash), and I am trying to install some rear ones to upgrade the sound. I've checked the back of the stereo, and there are wires present for the rear speakers, but I've looked in the back and can't seem to find the other end of them. Any ideas?

Eehm.. (in Holland) there are no Justy's with rear speakers So, probably you can't find the wires because there are no wires

Wires on my 89 are behind the interior 1/4 panel. You will have to remove the packege tray supports on both sides. (R) green and black w/red (L) green w/white and black w/white. While I had it all apart I also added a accessory outlet like in an Outback or Forester. Wire color was the same at the stereo so you can check there first.

I'v been having the same problem today 'justyyehh'. I have a 1997 Justy and I also have the Purple and Green wires coming from out of the back of my CD player, but strugling to find them at the rear of the car (as the car only has front speakers). Anyways i'v started taking the side panels. Do you have any tips for me, when im trying to find the rear speaker wires and when fitting the speaker??
Thanks.

Not to be a dick but you might have better luck on a suzuki forum. The 97 is a rebadged Cultus not a true Subaru. No one on here knows much about post 94 Justys.

Does the 1989-1995 1.2SII justy have rear speakers as standard?

I was challenged to find the rear speaker wires as well. Either way the stock wiring is barely sufficient to be passed off as speaker wire anyway. I just ran better quality "speaker" wire myself for both front and rear speakers. I only needed 24' of wire for this task. www.monstercable.com/mpc/productPageMPC.asp?pin=3102§ion=two

My '93 DL had them and they were connected! There were some cheesy Toshiba speaker like objects screwed to the rear plastic pieces over the seatbelts. You are right, the wire is tiny and useless. Just run new wire; it is needed in nearly every car but especially here! Monster even makes a nice cable with both left and right wires in one cable - this is how I ran my Infinity Kappa speakers in the hatch of my last Justy - bolted to a wood panel in place of the plastic one. The whole inside of the hatch was also dynamatted. Sounded great!!
