So I've been wanting to make a small brush guard/push bar for the Justy for some time. Nothing to mount a winch too, but something to put some fog lights on and give the little car a little more character. Either with or without the grille/light guards. Trying to go with something simple, and something simple to put together. Either bent out of heavy gauge sheet metal, or lasercut out of thin plate, or maybe a combination of both. Ideally this could ship flat and be bolted together, or easily welded. AND the "Justy" on the front plate would be in the Justy logo off of the tailgate. Simple Solidworks, and Jim's (I think) car. This isn't really to any dimensions yet, just going for a quick setup and to generate some ideas. I'm not sure of the best mounting location, where's a good set of bolt holes to tie into? Or something more involved like a length of all-thread from the brush guard through a drilled hole, back into a body support? And I think this should weigh 15lbs made out of 1/8" steel. It's small, like the Justy. Let me know what you guys think!

89,
Hard to believe it's been 6 months already! I bought the Justy right around then.
Maybe it'll get the guard in time for our one year anniversary!
I really like the Sherpa design, I think that's what I'll go for. It's been 99 degrees here in Oregon this weekend, so no time for any CAD work in the driveway. (Cardboard Aided Design)
I think I'll mock something up to get some real dimensions, and then go back to the computer.
That was drawn up in Solidworks.
