welcome to the board, -why lower a 4wd? -do you have 12" rims, losts justys have 13" rims. Hubcaps help! -you could turbo your engine like 'dunk' did. -What's that light in your rear bumper? stacks I wont to lower it or a least stiffen it up because the body roll is all over the place, and they are 14inc i think. but what turbo fits and then what do i do about uprating the pistons and so on?

Look at this photo below Read your tire size from the sidewall and you will know without a doubt, which size wheel you have.... though I'm telling you bro, those are 12s

No nothing is damaged on it apart from a little dent in the left wing. iv just sprayed the wheels black now and iv just noticed that the tire are bigger on the front then the back! lol

Hmmm, with the 4wd, I think having the different size tires front and back are going to cause you issues.

Yes. leave it in 2wd front until you go uniform shoes on all four feet. Strictly warned against in owner and service manual. While I am not certain of the negative ramifications, just running a 55 profile tires vs 60 in the rear in 4wd for a few feet caused an alarming 'judder'... any geared/splined 4wd driveline components would feel a significant conflict/strain... ?
Be Careful,

Be Careful, The car seems fine to me i don't really use the 4wd unless I'm doing a little offroading. oh and another thing when i floor it from a stand still in 1st 2nd and 3rd its OK but when i put my foot down in 4th it seems to bog down on power any ideas?

fattybo,
since you are new hear i would recommend tow things to you. always listen to seattlejusty and dunk.
second make sure to paroose the entire site, all the pages old and new to get a feel for what is here and what things are already are written about. the interesting thing about these little cars is the fact that most of the problems you will come across with yours many people have had the same issue in some shape or form. have fun and make sure to read up on everything you can.

Nice car! I really dig the colour. I also wish we got that rear spoiler in North America. As far as the wheels are concerned, make absolutely sure that you never engage 4wd on any surface that has full traction, ever. I'd seriously consider getting a set of all four matched up wheels.
I didn't realize there was such a thing as a '89 Gen1. Were they replaced by the Gen2 in mid-89 or something?
1st, 2nd and 3rd gear are geared for more 'peppy' city driving and acceleration. 4th and 5th and much longer gears for highway use. Atleast that's my observation.
