Rainy day today... had some time to kick this off. A little bit of cut up, glue back together, and start to fill/sand action... Tune in next (week?),

Looking pretty spiffy there 89... DISCLAIMER: Pics below are for microracing entertainment purposes only. Please check state and local laws and fitment information before using high end German body parts on 3 cylinder Japanese cars. #89 is not responsible for insult or injury. No kidding, a person has to think twice about making any modifications nowadays with all the MV inspection rules...my Justy fails inspection every year for some chickenshit reason...I think the State just doesn't like any car older than 10 years (they can't make any $$ from sales tax and excise tax) so they nit pick on inspections until you give in and buy a new car!! I looked up the State(ME) inspection laws once...and I can't believe how detailed and lengthy were the rules, about 20 pages worth. You guys in states/countries with no annual auto inspections are lucky! Rant over.......

RM, I know it! Inspection past due on the actual (1:1 scale!) JUSTY. Doing full brakes, windshield, and trying to figure out a $ practical solution for the crumbled headlight adjusters... Good Luck (and skill),

rant continued i am one of those lucky ones that my parents all 4 of my cars are registered in an area where vehicles don't have to pass inspection
When some one gives me shit about living in town and not having to go through inspection i laugh and say well if i had my car in to inspection they would fail it every time
in regards to modification find a city near you that does not have to pass inspection and pay the $50 a year for a p.o. box and then you don't have to pass inspection.
For you guys across the pond health and safety says if bin laden is doing the speed limit and he passed mov no one has a problem with him...

The ironic thing is...I do pay for a postal box and yet I still have to pay for an inspection every year, sometimes twice and three times before the car is repaired , and the State also collects a pretty hefty excise tax to boot on autos every year! Sorry for the hijack 89...how goes your diminutive Justy project?? Has the state of NY figured out a way to tax it yet ?
