sweet! thanks for the link, ive seen it before but forgot it was an injection! nice job by the way.
dunky, you are absolutely right....i think im loosing the plot too! it turned up last night, looking very gay indeed. oh dear... so the sooner i get it into my garage im renting down the road the better, then off with those nice white painted hub caps until the engine is sorted, then my minilites are going on!! square number plate too, cos it really does make that much of a difference to the poise of the front (and air intake) why oh why did i get another....?!!! oh i do remember, to make it fast and laugh all the way to work! ahahahahaaaaa (mad professor laughter)

nope i got rid of it after i got my white one. shame really cos i think i prefered the character of the carb far far more...plus it had 5 doors so its easier to throw stuff in it, plus i spent ALOT of money on new parts for her. i sold her to my best mate and his wife, but they still havnt paid me for it, or got her mot'd again, or cleaned her once, and she just sits there under a tree rotting. i am very sad about that one, so i dont mention her anymore (mainly cos the amount of effort i put into her, what a waste...)
my wheels...well, my current justy is fairly rusted now, dont get me wrong shes got loads of life in her still but the previous owner really neglected her and did bad jobs with the bodywork which didnt show until a few months rain later...so what i want to do with the 3rd one is finish the restoration job that was started. new rebuilt engine, clean body and then save my pennies and get some suspension, exhaust and eventually bolt some split rims on, but in the meantime when the engine goes in i will be using the new one till ive figured out which Jem is the better conditoned one, but i'll be damned if i have to drive around with those gay hubcaps on it!! hence the wheel swap in future!
oh, the problem(s) with my current jem is a major oil leak, and thanks to my Subaru dealer who never calls me back and leaves me to constantly chase them (TAKE NOTE SUBARU! you bunch of AR$E!) i cannot get the required bits, so shes gonna have to go either to the heaven she deserves, or swap bits and bobs with the new one to make a reeeealy good one!! other than oil leak, i have all parts there on the new one to swap over if required, and vice versa, just require a good engine which should be with me next week if i pull my finger out
i go on dont i?!
