Hi!
I have got a 92 Justy 1.2 injection, but the car is weak as hell. The car can't accelerate while driving on a steep road. How much torque is the car supposed to have?
The car is pretty quick in the upper end of the rev range, but below 3000rpm its got no power. And alot less then my carburated justys.
What could cause this?
Best Regards Carl Henrik Unelsrød

When I got my first 88, it was also extremely weak, couldn't hold 90km/h on the highway. Turned out to be the valve clearance, adjusted them and it was MUCH better.

this is not difficult if you know how the valves work. -get a new cylinder head gasket and the subaru-specific tool for this. the valve clrearence adjuster. (ST-029) this is a siccors like double-wrench. ;D ask your subi-dealer. -just take off the cylinder head cover and start adjusting. you have two small intake-valves and one bigger exhaust-valve for each cylinder. the mesurements are in your justy manual, or ask again. have fun! by the way, how old is this car? how much kilometers? (i want to be prepared)

Don't get a head gasket - that would be some more work You need the valve cover gasket
