Oh, I want it. It's just I can't give you any more than $200 total, at least not now. I can give you a little more in a few months, but I am still paying for the car it's for.

Let me know on the price, and I'll see what I can do.

Let me know on the price, and I'll see what I can do. Ok, I'll look into it. Does anyone know the approximate weight of a Justy 5MT trans? By that I mean, has anyone ever weighed one or shipped one...I can guess the weight, but I don't have a scale large enough to weigh one.

You could try a vet. Ask them if you can use the animal scale.

I am a busy professional and I am prepping my house to rent, digging through all the stuff my ex-wife left behind, applying to new jobs, financing a new house, and looking for a new house in Bend, so using my time to drive a transmission around Portland to get a weight is hard to justify at the moment. I might be more inclined to just order a heavy duty hanging scale, but we'll see. I honestly haven't had a chance to look into it yet, but I'll get there.

If you can hang on till Friday, I was planning on taking a poke at doing this!

Any chance you can do it on Monday. I'm going to be out of town until then.

Okay, a little over a week past when I said I would do it .. .. Sorry.
The weight on a 5 spd 4X4 manual trans from a Justy weighs either 86 lbs with the 2 inner cv drives but no drive shafts or I would guess just under 80 lbs.. ... Your results may vary.

Ferox, I might have a slight change in plans. This coming Monday, I am ripping open the case to find out the extent of the damages. I may not be needing parts as I have a friend who might have a backyard workaround the will get me another few hundred thousand miles. I won't know for sure until I can open it up. I'll get back to you on or after Monday when I find out.
