Yeah I used the tool. The clutch kit I got came with a tool, So before you purchase a kit you might want to find out if the tool is included. I purchased my kit through rock auto. This was a clearance item and the pressure plate was the wrong size. I ended up just using my old plate again.

The tool isn't necessary (i put my clutch without it), but i can tell it's harder to do the alignment. Cheers

I f you have a spare shaft for the gearbox or the gerabox is disassembled when mounting the clutch - you ca use this shaft for the alignment. This works great.

It runs ok. I need to do some adjusting. I did hit the freeway and was going about 65. I really didnt want to push it, I want to give it some time to break in properly.

That's great Coal!...hope everything goes well...must feel good to drive the Justy again after such a long time. I miss mine if it's down for a couple of days, never mind over a year! Thanks for the fabulous detail and in-depth discussion of your rebuild .

Yeah it felt great! I was so excited, after I pulled it out of the garage I hit the street. I forgot that I had the passenger seat in the back of the car. I hit the brakes and it went flying into my dash! A little suprise but pretty funny.

I still need to adjust the valves. I really have only put about fifty miles on it. The last three or four months I have been riding my bike so I have put the Justy on the back burner for the time.

Ok my lifters are loud. I adjuted them to the specs that the machine shop gave me. My compression is good, so I think the valves are sealing good. So yeah I have a bit of noise it is not buttery smooth.
