Stacks,
As you know, I, more than probably anyone, understand what you are doing and where you are at. You will be missed. I hope someday you will come back just as I did. You, more than anyone, were developing the kind of intelligent mods to keep these machines on the roads of the world as the parts become less and less available. We are all going to have to embrace our inner stacks to figure out creative and thoughtful ways to solve the unique problems of these little cars as the standard solutions disappear or become prohibitively expensive. It has been great being your peer, and thanks for putting in so much time to research specific answers to our problems. I will say farewell but not goodbye.

-SeattleJusty on the Seventh of December in the Final Year of the Noughties.Danimal, please start a new thread in the most suited category. Yeah Danimal, please start a new thread in the most suited category. Alright then, I will. It seems that most everyone here thinks it is a joke to switch from 4WD to FWD? Regardless of how amused one may be with the particular interest to do such a thing, will anyone please further humour me anyway and offer their advice? ... So have a laugh, mates ... Please don't leave the joke on me, out under my car struggling with a heavy gearbox too [large] to drop down and slip forward and out from under the car. -Danimal Why did you wait so late to ask me if I meant to post under the comedy section‽; you were the first to respond on that thread! Are you a 'troll' SeattleJusty? I know you have had multiple aliases, what other 'troll' actions have you taken? -Danimal Sorry, I meant to reply to your PM. Oh, well:Let's have a tall drink of transparency. Fetch more wood SJ, I've stoked the fire.

Ahhh...crap. this sucks, eh? Screw everyone and their differences! All that matters is the JUSTY!
The removal of one user's posts does indeed render many posts useless. That is unfortunate and I hope that they can be restored? Too bad if they can't.
I found this forum 2 years ago. I found it like I've found many forums for random cars I've had. A simple Google search revealed this site to be the best. I only hope it stays that way.
Internet forums are a great way to find out about the random "things" that go wrong with one's car. We can all share knowledge & experiences together, and be better off in the end.
I don't know anything about the reasons for this recent absence in the forum, but I don't like seeing empty & broken threads. Must the Justy forum succumb to the oh-so-common-forum-infighting?
It seems like this is but one of our growing pains.
Long live the JUSTY!!!

What a terrible loss!! I am stunned and saddened...I didn't think stacks would abandon the board and his "power" to help others in such a manner. Please let us all not stoop to making SJ the bad guy in this situation. Ego and personality clashes are common on these boards (I have seen it many times) and I don't care to psycho-analyze people. People are all different/complex...understand, forgive, and then move on...to the important stuff...our beloved Justys! Damn, is there no way to retrieve stacks' posts???

As far as the posts go: I've never used, moderated, or admin'd, a free board that allows you to archive stuff like that. When its gone its gone.

Danimal, you do know that I was trying to mess with Sj when I said "yeah danimal, etc."? Just thought I would clear that up haha i don't see why to keep up the fight now Are you a 'troll' SeattleJusty? Even at my most wicked I have no malice. If SeattleJusty is a 'troll' then so am I and certainly so was Stacks. Stacks is the evil troll who deleted ≈7% of this forum. None the less, I wish he would come back and share his knowledge with us without letting a moderator push him to wage war against the forum. SeattleJusty has made it clear that he has no power to 'assassinate a character' and that he wasn't intentionally fighting with Stacks in an effort to 'divide and conquer'! I also must make clear: SeattleJusty didn't even mean anything about anyone actually being assassinated, he was only claiming that defamatory statements were being made about him. I was just playing dumb when I further defamed him; I acted as though he had assassinated ddddyyyy and newtojustys. If anyone was offended or wondering why I'd taken a side, they were still taking this issue too personally or thinking that I do. I've been taken too seriously. Thanks for the good humor Danimal. I was the first to try to laugh this bullshit off. I don't think moderators ought to be "taking it outside" with members. I was willing to put up with Stacks' politics in order to retain his 'knowledge'. Now we have two choices: we can argue about politics and project our philosophical fantasies on the forum, or we can "fill the void". Move this thread to the comedy section. -Danimal

...... Move this thread to the comedy section. -Danimal I second that Dan. **SeattleJusty** beyond any personal stake you have in this thread can you please dump it into "Comedy" so we can look back and laugh, besides "Anything and Everything" is supposed to be "Write about anything here, but at least try to steer the subject matter toward Justys.".

Let me start by saying hi to everyone that i have no talked to or responded to in the last few months. lol who am i kidding, no one really knows me on here cause i do a lot more reading then i do posting. I try to help where i can but i have a very young experience with cars and i am learning as i go on my little 88 justy project. These forums have been a huge help to me during my ownership of my two justys. there is so many people on here that really are able to give great information that you would have to pay for somewhere else, hell anywhere else. I feel that at a time like this there are things that can happen that can change the rest of this forums life. If we choose to see this kamikaze act that stacks has done and point fingers and see all the problems that have been created there is no real future for this forum at least to the magnitude that it was before in its glory. What I feel we need to do is look at who is still here that is more than willing to help and that have knowledge about these little cars that we all love so much.
For me Seattle Justy has been an invaluable resource for parts and for general knowledge and Justy knowledge. I dare you to ask him a question that you are having problems with in a PM or a post calling for his help. I know that he will try to help you out the best of his ability. I also know that he will help get you hard to get parts that you can’t find other places that may come off his own personal daily driver ( he did it for me).
From this point on I feel that we all need to be giving help to those that need it and not waiting for the big guys to give all the answers. They have lives too, they are not always on the forums, even though it feels like they are sometimes!
Happy Holidays and I wish you all white Christmases that lead to 4wd drifting!
Jared

Whatever way [SeattleJusty] goes i will go the other. Except 15% of the time, though, right?: 85% of SJ's [posts] have been negitive seems like [SeattleJusty] is dividing the board a little. Seems like you're trying to divide the board. You have had quite a few negative posts, yourself; I will not make any bets on percentages for an opinion. Danimal

I can clearly see the division.
SJ, you are a smart, respectable man, I would give my 3rd nut to buy you a drink any day.(how many beers have I offered you so far since I have been here??)But...
It's as if you are the barkeep that has 10 different kinds of beers, but when someone buys the ale, you say the lager is the only one you should drink.
You are preserver, and that's good. In 50 years when there are no more Justys, I know I can count on you to be the one that has a Justy in a museum somewhere. But it seems that a lot of people on here want to expand with their Justys, and you don't like that. Which is fine, I respect your opinion. But this is not the "Justys are for getting groceries only" forum, this is a "Just in general" forum. Are there forums for mini-vans? Maybe. What, that does not make sense, why would you have a whole entire forum, for mini-vans?
I don't know what else to say. We butt heads over personal issues, that's all. It feels like no matter how many times I have tried to be cool about shit, I still feel like an asshole for what i want to do with my car. Anyone else feel that way?

nope, cause i dont care. People get bent out of shape either way. According to SJ if its not 100% stock then your doing wrong in life and the Justy community. Seems sorta silly cause the cars arnt all that special in the first place. Im guessing about 90% of people on this forum wanna mod their car in one way or another anyways. so in a way yes the board is already divided.

You guys, c'mon. I have defended myself against the tired accusation that I am anti-mods so many times you'd think everyone had memorized it by now. Still for the newbs I will oblige. The imputation that I am against modifying your car is patently untrue. I have never said anywhere that a Justy must be kept completely stock. I praise innovation and have issued praise many times to people that I feel have done well by their cars. Red Roo is right on and Danimal is quite correct as well. Imag thanks again for the offer. As I have stated before, I am a teetotaler so I will pass, but thank you as always. ZJ, the Spell Check button is second from the right, two over from Post Reply. It works awesome. -SJ-

SJ, a "teetotaler"? Should I assume that as someone who does not imbibe? Anyways, "ZJ, the Spell Check button is second from the right, two over from Post Reply. It works awesome." was taken right out of my mouth, but far worse are my "loose-lose" spelling issues. Chills.
Alright, no one ever said that YOU said that we should not ever mod our cars, I think we(can I say we?) feel like you don't like the idea of modding a perfectly good...Subaru. Which is fine, and maybe I should pull a you and search for all the posts that you praise mods. But another division....
To modify, and to rally....you don't like something....what is it, SJ, whaaaaat iiiis iiiit???
"Another note: rally is not race and driving like an ass on dirt roads around your home town is not rally." How are you not talking about me? And if you are not, then please speak of who you are talking about.
"Am I? Am I singling you out or is that really just your guilty concience?

o hay thancks, ill rember that. ;D
no he was talking about me really. He thinks "rally" is bombing the back roads. When really rally is an organized racing event, which i do in my justy. I dont under stand why he gets em mixed up.

You're hilarious extremzj. Let's clear the air for a second here. I will not reprint a private exchange on my own dispensation because that is very uncool and on some boards grounds for dismissal, but I will reveal that the root of this bicker of extremzj's lies in a PM he sent to me. I made a comment about the misappropriation of the terms "rally", "race" and the misnomer "rally race". Extremzj did not understand the meaning of my statement and wrote to me personally but instead of just asking me to elaborate, he called me an "idiot" and offered up a Wikipedia definition of rally (which was by most accounts as correct if incomplete definition). I wrote back to extremzj and I explained myself quite thoroughly and showed him how he had already laid the foundation of my argument for me. So concise was I that he didn't have much to say but a lone snicker. So to try and exact some petty revenge, he's throwing mud around in an old thread that had nothing to do with him. As far as negativity goes, I'm not telling anyone that they have the worst driving lines ever, or that they are stupid for appreciating their Justy or calling someone's Justy a turd etc. I just love Justys and want to see people excel above the usual hot air gulping cone filters and coffee can mufflers, that's all. I'm always here to help when it is asked of me. Cheers.
