Please see it less as an insult and more as a factual description. Truth hurts sometimes. I'd give you a "coke" and a smile if I could; that would cheer you up! stacks We interrupt this regularly scheduled character assassination to bring you an important announcement:. My new year's Justy forum resolution is to cut down on thread drifting and to avoid thread hijacking at all costs. I'm getting an early start right here. After carefully considering the turn-the-other-cheek option vs the self-defense option I decided that the only way for me to accomplish a reduction in thread drifts/hijacks without compromising my ability to defend myself, is to take it outside. We now return to your regularly scheduled program.

It's getting cold out and you didn't lock the door to this thread from everyone except yourself and Stacks so I'm coming in by the fire... If I could offer you a cock and a smile, I would. A Freudian slip, my friend? Perhaps you don't quite frequent that brothel? 'Lucifer's Prick' indeed! ... character assassination ... What did you do with Newtojustys!?!Where is my old friend ddddyyyy?Never heard from again!Who's next Seattle? Who's it gonna be ne-

Thanks for the good humor Danimal. We need more of that around here. Yes I made a slip of the tongue before correcting that typo. I keep some English friends and their repertoire of expletives has become second nature to me and so my fingers quickly typed out cock in place of coke. Newtojustys was either exactly what everyone accused it/him/her/shim of being and naturally evaporated once it/him/her/shim was no longer needed or else slinked away in self exile like Jrad. ddddyyyy, I wish I could ban that person but I am only a lowly Moderator and Mods have no real power.

The ONLY power to be had in this virtual world without wealth is the power to help another member. Learning that there is no political power to be gained thru conventional means can help move us away from the Animal Farm into a healthy Anarchy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchystacks Very good Stacks!!!!!!

The ONLY power to be had in this virtual world without wealth is the power to help another member. Learning that there is no political power to be gained thru conventional means can help move us away from the Animal Farm into a healthy Anarchy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchystacks A healthy anarchy is just a dream, stacks...Like Thoreau, John Lennon, and numerous others have espoused. The famous archaeologist Robt. Carneiro, I think, once stated, "war is inevitable" even amongst so-called civilized people. I think we should all get together somewhere with all our Justys and have one big party and celebrate the thing that brings us all together...too bad we are, literally, worlds apart . -RM

A healthy anarchy is just a dream, stacks... "You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one" Imagine a world without heaven, countries or possesions; "A brotherhood of man" Don't even get me started on Thoreau, stacks "I do not value any view of the universe in which Man or the institutions of men enter very largely and absorb much of the attention. Man is but the place where I stand, and the prospect, hence, is infinite". -H.D.Thoreau And one quote SJ would agree with is "Simplify, simplify, simplify!" Thoreau's tenets were truth, simplicity of life, Nature, and most importantly, individualism. It is my opinion that if we all remained and acted as individuals and not in large groups, the planet would be a lot more peaceful...don't get me started on religions. But alas, Man is by and far a social creature

Redmavis, I am humbled by your thoughtful and meaningful post. You have me pegged right on. I do believe in simplification in so many ways and I also believe very strongly in individualism, in fact I believe that rugged individualism has been a traditional American virtue that made the U.S.A. such an amazing success story up to the 1950s. I also do believe in community however and one of my biggest heroes is the late Dr. King and when I interact with strangers in day to day life I think of him often (daily) and how I can in some small way, join hand in hand with my brother man.
Thank you again.

It's always good to hear there is still some level of hope and goodwill left alive out there, even if its in the form of a band of small displacement, odd cylindered, oil burning brothers. That being said, im gonna go back into the shop and complete my EJ25 Justy project......... Just kidding SJ....please don't peer upon me from the grassy knoll ; )

This boards stock just went up exponentially. Didn't realize we had so many well versed gentlemen here.

Please don't take my Anarchy comments as a world remedy and note my last post was entirely stolen from Lennon's Imagine. The point was that the structure of this Virtual board makes Anarchy possible here as there is no wealth, resource abuse, political boundaries or need for group decisions. (not that those factors all define anarchy). stacks Point taken, and understood...I just got carried away and applied it to the real world. If we can all just agree to disagree once in awhile in both worlds...(Dave Mason)...oh, oh, here we go again, and respect each other and our opinions. Cheers, Steve aka redmavis

More fuel is saved by having 1 driver choose a 36.5MPG Justy over a 20MPG Gas Hog than 3 drivers choosing a 50MPG Prius over their Justys when all 4 drivers drive the same distance. stacks Boy howdy, for a man so seemingly bothered by myopia you sure do exhibit quite a refusal to consider any pollution from an automobile other than that which comes out of the tail pipe. I have said it before and I will calmly and patiently say it again and again and again so long as you inspire me to, that an automobile has at least three phases of pollution:
So you can play with you calculator all night long and come up with clever calculations about how many gallons of fuel are used by any number of MPG/car scenarios but until you consider the pollution that takes place before and after the MPGs, then it is you and not I that has missed the point. What point? My point.Woops, forgot my resolution. Old habits die hard y'know. This post was supposed to go in this thread but I initially placed it in the thread of its origin. My apologies to the original poster.

Moderators do not have the power to delete anyone's account, only an Admin, so **stacks** must have deleted his own account. Makes sense, sometimes the only way to stop a fight is to just walk away. Is this really walking away, or a ploy to divide the forum? If not able to admirably disagree, I would have rather seen you guys just call each other petty names and leave it.
Just for fighting, neither side was right, nor was there a winner. Hopefully we will see **stacks** again, he did bring a great deal of technical knowledge. **SeattleJusty** we are all human, and can get hurt when others take jabs at us. Most of the strongest opponents we (or anyone) will face are the people who are the most like us.
I appreciate the contribution of both of you guys, you both are very knowledgeable and have helped me out. Thank you

this seattle-castro thing seems ridiculous to me... looks like since its the only moderator arround ( and ex-admin ) then has the obligation to be all fuzzy and warm towards all justy member's opinions, regardless of what the guy thinks about em, and offer hot cup of chocolate before ever disagreeing with somebody, or start a disscusion so who's being censored here? Stop taking sides or seeing a ''war'' going on... The real damage here is that pete not only left but took all his usefull posts and info with him, leaving a trail of hundreds of threads damaged, and totally useless, impossible to comprehend for future justy owners in need. a punishment those who need that info and had nothing to do with the problem have to pay.........What a selfish act just because someone is moderator it doesen't put him above others, nor makes him loose the right of free speech...

I really didn't expect this from someone like stacks. Seemed way too level headed, and good spirited, to give in to obvious online tom-foolery.
If nothing else can be learned from this: realize that this is just a place to exchange messages on the internet. A little joking, and fun, never hurt anyone. Its only hurtful if you let it get under your skin.
I'm a member of a lot of forums, and I've been visiting this one less and less because everyone here seems to have thinner skin than an overinflated balloon.

Every turn of the "justy-wrench" empowers me to go on and help others.
