You have probaby seen my turbo justy. That was a start for the Justy bug for my friends, and a new project was born. It started with a 4 door Justy 4WD 1.2 GL, the engine was dumped a la Turboman.ca Justy WRX, and the bodyshell was stripped of all Justy components and transplant was realised in ARICAN SUBARU service in Ankara, Turkey. What started as a fun project to transfer the guts of a wrecked WRX turned out to be a monster of a Subaru, with fully built 2.5Lt Crawford S4 based block, Garrett Ball Bearing GT-35R turbo, progressive NOS, water-to-air intercooler w. dry ice, cams, straight cut dog box, triple carbon plate clutch, Hydra EMS, 2-door conversion, etc etc... It has around 750 Hp now, and started to run in national drag series, and managed 2nd place in its first year. Next year we have higher hopes, and will be following the full season. The owner previously had a highly modified impreza STi , and basicly ate Lamborghini's for breakfast on that setup. I have witnessed it win in a 1 kilometer race with a Lambo Diablo. Monster Justy is now ridiciolusly fast, and the important issue is not more power but, how to put it to the ground now. It goes though twin plate clutches like butter every race w. 4 Hoosier slicks. ;D This month, it has been featured on a national Turkish magazine, and here is a teaser. More pics and vids to follow... Cheers.. ;D ;D

Whoever is part of that is a sicko madman (in a good way). ;D I hope you bad boys have a WRC Spec Rollcage in that thing (plus 80 point harnesses) I'll take the Pepsi Challenge with y'all in the turns though... tight auto-x or on the ice/snow! The design team for the Magazine Mock-Up needs some proper recognition as well! Good Luck; Have Fun; Stay Alive?, #89

Actually that is a real magazine cover, Monster Justy's been featured this month. ;D I have some pics of the build in progress, and the state it's in on the drag strip. Note the stealth black paint job. Here goes: 19"s were put on for testing, and Monster Justy would spin them all the way though 1st, second and third gear. Though not very clear on the picture, note the 2.5 and the STi badge at the rear. ;D This is how it looked after the 2 door conversion. The rear gate is also a 2-step design, as you can tell by the latches. Side exit exhaust and the rear fender air inlets. This year, for the Turkish National drag series, there are a couple of "maniac" projects like this ,coming from friends, like the E36 BMW 3.25 with a big turbo'ed, Supra engine with ALS (sounds like machine gun fire), the "BUGARU" VW Bug with EJ207 STi block and GT-30R turbo, fully built 2.85lt GC8 impreza w. GT42 turbo etc... I can't wait for the new season to start. ;D ;D

how does the suspension line up? or did you just narrow the axles? use the wrx rear diff?
lots of questions... man what a project

Is that a body kit from something else, modified to fit the car?

For the suspension, new towers have been built, and the track width has been enlarged to fit WRX driveshafts. It uses an STi rear diff w. a custom main shaft. The stock body panels and the bumper has been modified into a body kit, and the rear 2 doors have been welded shut to make a 2-door kit. I know, starting with a 2-door would be easier, but we had already gone too far into the project after 2-door decision, and these are far lighter than coupe doors. It is road registered, but we only go testing at night where we would not be seen as the side-exit cutout is VERY VERY loud. And the flames go up to 3-4 feet long w. ALS and flat-foot shifting.

This is the best Justy So far, but I have a question,
I know the original sti block 2500cc comes with 300 hp, how you made to get 750 hp,
I saw a video of a 610 hp impreza, but 750 hp is so har to believe to me,
Still the best Justy and the dream of all of us,
A video of the Justy on the street will be really great,

You can run STI motors (with modifications) to 750hp...especially if it is designed for drag racing.

It is not a stock block. It is a fully built and sleeved block with forged crank, rods, pistons, CNC ported and polished Cosworth heads w. oversize valves, titanium retainers, double spings etc. On top of all this, it has a wet progressive Nitrous injection system. Like I said, it is purpose built for drag racing. The intercooler is a special water-to-air unit, and is packed with dry ice (frozen solid CO2) for each run. Here is a short clip of it in action: youtube.com/watch?v=o3rw0E6fgCM

For myself I had no doubt that this was no stock boxer!Congrats on making such great horspower.I would love to know if you used stock or even reinforced but stock dimension Justy struts, trailing arms,or lower a frames?.I see from the pics that the rims have 5 bolt pattern so I assume the hubs, rotors etc go with the engine.Just want to know where the justy ends and the rest begins?.

my dream of doing this started when i first bought my justy. either doing that or putting it on a geo tracker frame which is same wheel base with a larger engine in it.

my dream of doing this started when i first bought my justy. either doing that or putting it on a geo tracker frame which is same wheel base with a larger engine in it. Then why don't you just build a tart'd up Tracker instead?
