We're getting closer!!!! Got the intercooler mounted, have the intake plumbing figured out, just a few things here and there, and we'll be turbo ready! Intercooler is pretty well hidden from view, Just(y) how I want it.

Got new wheels on her!! She looks good! They are Honda VX wheels winterforce tires 185/70r13. They seem to fit well in the little wheel wells. Should make for fun adventuring since they're nice and tread(y) with a Mud and Snow rating. Just(y) need to do something about those unappealing brake calipers now and maybe paint the castle nuts black.

You're gonna love those Winterforce tires... I meant to mention something a few days ago, when I saw them beside the car. I have 2 sets for the Justy, the 155 for just snow, and the 175 for everything else winter related, and I also run them on the 3000+ lb AWD DD... They are amazing in pretty much everything. Nice snag on the VX wheels...

I hope so, everything I've read on them, say they are great, maybe a little loud, but who cares? Should make mud and snow so much fun!

Well got another project in the works, I bought a viscous coupling to build a housing for and install inline of the prop shaft. I'm actually going to make a sort of dog engagement ring for the outside of the viscous input and the viscous output. And put it all in a little housing under the car. The idea being that I can leave my little Justy in 4wd and it will behave like the automatic AWD Subarus with viscous couplers in the transmission. The Idea of the dog engagement gears/teeth will be so that I can actually lock the input and output of the coupler together, that way I can still have a full locking center that has gotten me out of so many situations. We'll see how it works in practice. (:

Got my new lovejoy u-joints in to go from the prop shaft into the viscous coupler. Started cutting the splinded adapter shaft, this will be going into one side of the coupler, i'll be cutting another for the opposite side soon.

Not sure if you can see the photo, let me know. But yesterday I fabbed up a mount to hold mt 2:1 steering quickener. Now the justy is 2.25 turns lock to lock. And still light as a feather when steering on the road.

Let's see if that worked, Google keeps updating the photo site so consistently sharing things proves difficult. Also Driving on the road is a whole new world, It's 2.25 turns lock to lock so a just a flick of the wrist sends you around corners pretty well. lol

Also got another turbo in the mail yesterday, this one even smaller than the last, not going to have anything on the top end but all down low, should be fun in the snow this winter!

It all bolts right back up to the original mounting points and I cut and welded the original splines on to the new column. So it literally bolts right back where it was with most the factory plastic except for the steering shaft guard that was now too small.

Got to making the new manifold and to salvage the flange from the old one. As you can see in the first picture i ran it a little lean when i was first testing which got the exhaust too hot and cracked my poor mig welds, I tried to booger weld it back together with my 120v flux core in the garage and that eventually failed. So I'm now making another manifold to attach to the new tiny turbo, so far i'm taking my time on it, actually trying to be patient and tig weld it at all joints. Pictures to come!
