I read this thread a few weeks ago, and got some ideas of what I could do to my exhaust. Someone did a crappy job setting up a muffler and tip, so I couldn't bear to have it on anymore. I do exhaust systems at work, and figured it was time to do my car. I cut the exhaust behind the flex pipe that was welded in under the transmission. And went with 2" pipe all the way back. The flex pipe is 1.75," and there was a small post-cat welded halfway to the rear of the car. I made a 90* bend behind the rear diff, into a 2.5" inlet/outlet flowmaster mounted to flow from right to left. Then a 2" 90* bend with a tip. I painted it all black so the muffler was not noticeable from behind the car. The sound is pretty resonating, and the flowmaster has a crisp unique sound. It has that thrush rumble instead of the ricer noise. Its not very loud at all, and sounds pretty cool when I am slowing down and revmatch second gear to get some compression braking from the engine. I can tell there is still adequate back pressure because the engine slows the car down pretty fast when I drop gears coming to a red light.
Hope this helps, Connor.

I have no experience with cherry bombs or Mufflers but my little Justy is coming along and I wanted to give it a little bit of a growl.
What do you guys suggest? I would not want to drop a whole lot of money.
I found the cherry bombs on Ebay. What one do I need and is this a good a cheap way to give it some growl?
