I would think you probably COULD swap the 4wd system over, but that is a LOT of work if you think about it. You would be disassembling two cars, swapping an entire drive train, and suspension system over. What kind of condition is this 92 in? If it runs and drives fine I would consider just swapping the entire motor, tranny, and running gear over. You'd need to switch the harness too.

losing a 12 or 10mm wrench while working on a justy would not leave me a happy person. I would stop any work you're doing on putting that motor back in and replace that water pump.

unfortunately the motor is already in and bolted up. i also only have this week left then school is over till the fall and i have to get my car out of the driving or not driving. Would it be bad to plug the hole temporarily? like for a day?

If its in and bolted up then drive it home, and deal with the pump at your house. I'm not sure what plugging up the weep hole would do, but I'd imagine that fluid would have to go somewhere.

I'm not sure what plugging up the weep hole would do, but I'd imagine that fluid would have to go somewhere. The coolant/water would enter sump. We all know how gentle coolant is on bearings!! Here's a shot of the backside of cover, arrow points to weep hole. stacks damn, so is my front cover EFFED or what?

would this be the cause of me not putting in the mechanical seal correctly?
