Looks like a blast! So what other types of turbo awd cars were you up against? Lots of other subies?

Here's a youtube version for those who can't see the links above: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIN5c9OsSLoI beat out a bunch of older Legacy turbos, a TT, bunch of WRX's. Fun I think the light weight really helps in getting traction and changing direction on the polished ice sections.

W, Thanks for bringing that goodness to the boards! 1.How did you achieve that sweet exhaust tone?... seems like its truly leak free?! Mine sounds like someone rubbing a balloon next to that! 2. Let us know what tires you were running....?? 3. The footage is amazingly level also... did you do shocks?! That's exactly why I purchased my JUSTY!... The idea of a JUSTY 4WD haunted me since my very first event at the Nicholl's Ice Time Trials in Pittsfield Massachusetts. At the time, we ran a 1985 FWD Subaru GL Hatchback with studded Nokia Hakkapeliitas. What a great time. Unfortunately NY has been a tad warm for ice/snow motorsports, in, say, the last 3 years!! Go 3s,

This looks like Barns lake?
I live in Cache Creek and race on the track when no races are around. I also land on it in my plane and have come to a race last year in the plane. Send me a message if you like.

Stock exhaust, with a few leaky bits I think! haha. It sounds pretty good actually, not too buzzy, and has a nice rolling note at idle. I'm using Hankook Ice Bear 165/65-13 tires. They are decent. Shocks are pretty blown actually...but the ice surface is fairly smooth. I'll post some gravel road footage some time...it's a lot more rough and the banging from the shocks bottoming out will make you cringe. dberwin: yep, Barnes Lake. Our rally club holds two rallycross events up there each winter on the ice racing club's off weekends. We have another one coming up in Feb. No cage required. Cheers, Warwick

Please let me know the date and I will see if I am off. I will be working a few more weekends yet. The carsonice were there today. I asked who was here last week and they said the guys that are scared to bump a bit and only race one at a time.

Haha, yeah, the ice racers think we are wimps. But they aren't driving expensive street cars head to head! A bunch of us want to start ice racing next year though (and buying used ice racers).
Our next event is Feb 17th.

nice stuff man! I run some studded 145r13's and have a few wims over Sti's out here.. If you want good tone... ditch the whole muffler toss in a resonator and 2" pipe
