Would a Garrett T2 be any good for the justy? I am looking for a garrett gt20 or gt25 for mine. You can find them in any DSM (Talon, Eagle) car. They are ball bearing and pretty reliable. Matthew

I guess new generation diesel turbos would do fine in this little motor. I am looking at a turbo from a Peugeot Partner TD. I came accross a 3cyl. manifold turbo combo from Smart. Boy was it small! I guess it would not make enough power, and prove to be a restriction in the higher RPM range. So I found that new garrett GT10-12 series is a perfect match for my car. GT15-25 series can introduce some lag, since they are more suited to 1300-1600cc motors.

I'm just wondering about the T2 because a local guy has a Garrett T2 w/ internal wastegate, complete with actuator and some oil/coolant lines + DSM SMIC for $200 CAD

You must ask the question "When is my Justy operating below 3500 RPM?" Maybe you will suffer coming out the hole in first, but it shouldn't be a big deal. Take a pound or two off the flywheel. What stinking turbo lag? Matthew

Try these: IHI RHF3 or RHF4 turbo from JDM. If you have a budget, try IHI RHB-32 turbo from a Chevy Sprint turbo.

OK, I bought a K14 from Borg Warner. It has integral wastegate, and will fit well under the bonnet. Will let you know how it goes...
