i'm working on an Intercooler Sprayer for when it gets alittle warmer out.
Right now.. there is the "wrx Like scoop" that you get from Demon Tweeks (half size impreza scoop) on the hood, which sit's right above the intercooler. I have also spaced up the back of the hood about 1/2 inch to allow some hot air to exit from the engine compartment.
basically. my intercooler sprayer will be a NOS fogger Nozzle, mounted on the intercooler, spraying water.
I figure it should work half decently.

Also, if you find yourself in need of a certain part for your sprayer idea, you can go to a mitsubishi dealership and buy parts for the Lancer Evolution 8's intercooler sprayer. You could also go to mitsubishi's website and other sites to find out how to rig the sprayer up like the EVO 8's.

Probably, the only tricky part of a spray mist kit is a decent 12v pressure water pump, although you could have a go with a normal, windscreen washer pump and see if it has enough power to make a mist.
I thought about using some jets from a carb to atomise the water, but taking on board what Neuspeed wrote it might be simply to buy one from a Mitsi dealer.

question...
i'm planning on getting a turbo starlett 1300 engine head do you think a 1500 engine bottom half could fit it? also do you think it could fit in my engine bay? or would it work and also do u think its worth the hassle and stuff at the end of the day?

Easiest way to turbo a carb justy I would say is to get hold of a turbo carb from a mini turbo or Autin metro turbo. If your in the US look at the uk ebay site and you should be able to get one cheaply. These are blow through carbs, work well and arent too big as theyre made for a 1300 c turbo. Get a garett T2 or T3, a fuel prssure regulator from a turbo , an intercooler and that should be it !
Any questions. Mine s a crab justy, but I'm converting it to mappable 3d ignition and injection.

Ps the urbo will fit perfectly where the first cat is. If your in a state with strict wmissions I would reccomend mappable injection though. A crab on a turbo might be tricky to get through in some states.
