Hello I have a very good 90 justy body that had an automatic 2 wheel. I also have a 90 4x4, with 'not so good' body and want put the engine, running gear, etc from it into the body that had the automatic. What problems might I run into? Thanks

Hey there,
This is really a body question more than a 4wd question...
But... first thing I'd ask is.. is it the actual main portion of the unibody that's got issues? Because doors and front quarter panels are all easy to swap.. the main portion of the body is a big undertaking and the only issue i can see that you may face is the hole for the clutch will need to be made on the auto's body. And then there's the mountings for the 4wd solenoid on the firewall.. but other than that it's somewhat easy.. just time consuming.

Thanks, 92. The body has issues! I did the same sort of thing putting a manual transmission into a Geo Metro that had had an automatic. There was a lot of futzing with transmission mounts, so I appreciate the experience of anyone who has been there with a Justy conversion, before I bite the bullet..
