I own 4 justys totalling approx $1000 CAD (Less 1 towing charge $150)
'88 carbed 5spd $200 (Field Car/Parts Donor) '90 FI 2-door 5spd $300 (Daily Driver/Current Rally Project) '92 FI 4-door attempted conv to 5spd by prev owner $200 (Parts Donor) '91 FI 4-door ECVT $300 (Full Electric Conversion Project)
Any ECVT, general justy, electric vehicle info or sources would be of great help as this will be my first EV conversion. Any links or genuine justy service manuals by fuji heavy, etc. Even service manuals on ebay or craigs would help. New ECVT parts or rebuild parts would be extremely helpful as this would be the trouble area.
I have familiarized myself with a ford festiva EV done by a local college with very reasonable top speed, acceleration, and range. Very little weight change occured due to absence of engine support systems (intake, exhaust, cooling, etc.) Electric motors are typically slightly lighter than IC but battery weight makes up for difference and deletion of IC support systems.
I will be budgetting approx $3000 for this project. Hopefully some of this will come from donations or grants of somekind. Though I am almost certain I will have to take on the full cost.

Thanks alot for the links guys. I might have to stick with 5spd. The rediculous amounts of torque might wreck the CVT within seconds. If anyone knows how much torque and hp the cvt can handle please let me know because I'd rather have a 3cyl on a cvt that will last rather then an EV with a CVT that breaks in one go. Even worse if so much time and money goes into a CVT car.
