Does anyone have experience with roof racks and roof top tents for Justys?
If so, any tips?

The justy has "rain gutters" like all subaru's. There are generic gutter rail roof racks. No closer pictures that I have but it just clamps on no bolts or holes drilled. Roof top tents I wouldn't do as the justy wheel base is small and it can be easily tipped. Plus roof top racks are tall for how small our justy is.

justine Please say that you purposely parked between the Hummer and Toyota just because you could. One of the best reasons to have a little Justy! As for the roof top tent... I really wanted to do a roadtrip with my little guy this winter (before other plans/wife decided on something else) so did a lot of research on this topic. First... Most of the rack companies have some for our cars Thule Subaru Justy roof rack $400This is just an example of one of the larger companies. You can find generic sets for less. Any of them will hold a roof top tent. Second... There are two types of tents. The commonly seen, cheaper, foldout, canvas style, or the expensive, fiberglass, popup style. Canvas Style Pros: MUCH cheaper ($800-2000), very common, lots of reviews, and lots of choices Cons: Takes longer to set up, beware of the really cheap chinese knockoffs, and when packed are usually about of foot tall. Not good on little HP cars like ours. Fiberglass Pro: Easier to setup, when packed are much lower profile for better wind resistance, can even put more stuff on top and still be lower profile than a canvas one Cons: EXPENSIVE ($2000-4500), are longer so would stick over the front and/or rear more, and usually a few pounds heavier. Specifically to our Justy, I feel that neither is a great option. Throwing a large square box on the roof or the equivalent of a large kayak on the roof and you're asking to be blown around, but set it on a little trailer behind you and you'll never even know it's there. A quick search on Google and you'll see what I mean. Camp trailer
Personally, I would love to build a smaller version of this...

I did purposely park there, it was a ski resort and parking is almost always horrendous at any ski resort. Well I go by the rule if I fit I sit

I did purposely park there, Well I go by the rule if I fit I sit I like that quote, That is part of the reaso why I rock one of these small cars. Here is me sneaking into the last free parking spot by our hockey arena. that post behind my car is the start of a permitted parking area.
