Hi All,
I couldn't find it on the forums so asking here. My current door locks are done for, specially the drivers side. I need to buy a set of door locks but can't track locally. Also there are no junkyards to confiscate a set from.
Does anybody know if Justy locks are compatible with some other Japanese manufacturer like Suzuki etc??
I understand that the ignition assembly is obviously not compatible with any other car but door lock cylinders could possibly fit. I can live with 2 keys ( 1 for outer locks and 1 for ignition).
Any ideas, advice, help?
Regards, Saqib

Rock auto has some locks I think... I have 2 keys from my Justy and I have badly copied spares that don't work properly but old ones have small cracks so I don't wanna use them and most of locks are pretty much worn out too... I'm going to instal a remote controlled central locking so it will protect the locks for some time.

I have changed a door locks on my aunt's car (with a little bit diferent key sistem) and I take them apart (It has a little plates with numbers (1-5 i think) marking the position of the key tuching part) and rebuild them to fit the original keys (I take apart the old locks and step by step check the numbers and change the positions of plates in new lock but I must use few old plates because in new lock there was more "1" than "4" or something) but it is working... Maybe something like this can be done with these locks.
