Hi All, So today I went to fit a new exhaust to my car... Thought it would be pretty simple... grinder out, cut off old bolts, replace exhaust and bolt up again.... So you can imagine my surprise when I come across the spring loaded bolts... Since I didn't have any replacement special bolts, I decided it was best to preserve those already on the car, only problem was the hex's had rounded a bit and were slipping on my 12mm spanner, so to undo them I had to remove the subframe and part of the anti-roll bar. Has anyone had to do this before? To my dismay I found that the support braket for the front ARB has broken Does anyone have the part number for this so I can source another? It's a bit annoying since the car will now fail it's MOT this week. Ewan

These spring bolts are painful to remove and put back... I have used a standard M8 little bit longer than original ones for easier putting back and self locking nut + some big washers... If you can, remove the short tube coming from CAT and you should get more space to work. You can remove the ARB and you should not have any problem with it...

I managed to put the original spring bolts back in, i guess it needs them since there isn't a flex section. ..

Ah yeah, longer bolts would help, it took a bit of force to preload the springs...
