I bought a second justy mainly for parts but it turned out to be in pretty good condition. I figured Id make it something fun since its just about rusted though in a few critical areas. The reason my daughter named it the stinky justy is because it had a rat hotel where the spare tire sat, it was full of grains and all kinds of seeds. Not having much luck with the stinky stuff but I vacuumed it completely out and sprayed lysol thoughout, might take out the seats and carpets and try to to clean the seats the best I can and just rhino line the bottom of the floor. The Justy has factory AC too and seems to work. Now the kinda cool part is they were bought around the same time and they are both from the same dealership!! What are the odds of that! So this makes too!!

Turbo cool... Itb's super cool... Now Matt goes on one of his naysayer rants Turbo and ITB? Why? It's a lot of headache to match up the itbs, and with a turbo it's only going to create more hassle no? The stock EFI runners aren't restrictive for a turbo situation so what is the benefit. If you're thinking of using the ITB's on a carbed motor, that's even way more hassle. I went with the EFI head to do my triple carb set-up because the plumbing for them on a carbed head would have been horrendous (somebody here tried it once and gave up...), remember there are to coolant ports per intake port on the carbed head, so you need to make 2 more coolant manifolds... The benefits of ITB's (or triple carbs) are throttle response and WOT on naturally aspirated motors. Off the top of my head, I can think of no OE turbo motors with ITB's. Must be a reason for that If you want to engineer, then go for it, but probably the engineering time put into tuning the turbo on a stock manifold would outweigh anything you would get from the ITB's My 2 cents... cheers!

Nissan RB26 uses ITB's and Turbo Factory as well as Toyota 4age. I know its a outside of the box.............Im going to build a intake out of steel and have a way to deal with the water jackets. waiting on intake & exhaust gaskets for templates. Ive been having a hard time finding a EFI Head & Intake, the wrecking yards won't separate them from complete motors. I have 3 carbureted engines so why not, currently into the build with $500 in parts. The motorcycle throttle body is an easy way to get the basic efi needs on the fuel side, since its going to be turbo'd theres no significant gains in using them. The local machinist was a drag racer in his younger years said He might donate some time to build a one off Aluminum intake.

Oh yeah, dang RB26... Did the 4A ever come turbo'd from the factory? I had the 3SGTE, (that was a fun motor...) but it was the TVIS, which was just a twin intake runner system with butterflies in one set of runners to keep air velocity up at low rpm and low/no boost. Most folks "back in the day" got rid of it when looking for more power. Anyway, all valid points. But I would seriously look for an FI head... ask around here. I might have a spare, but still away from home until mid summer. Doing this needs a little distributor hackery to use the Gen 1 disty, but's 5 mins with a hack saw... You could contact this guy, see if he wants to part just the head... portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/5607639087.htmlYou see so many projects end early because somebody tried to save $50 up front, and costs $100's and hours down the road.

What are those ITB's from? I would love to try something like that on my rusty justy.

Cool beans.
My carbs are 33mm... but they are carbs and need the venturi so the bore that meets the head side is 40mm. I think you'll have a good match there, although maybe some porting work to make them match up... I think I used 38 mm ID aluminium tubing (1.5 inch) and it was a nice match, but I had the EFI head to work with...

Make and model of tires please! Those look epic! I went with these tires because they dot approved and they were 12", they are really too wide for the wheels and the load rating is 542 lbs ( which I didn't know to begin with.) So not sure how long they will last but I'm going to run them. When I do it again I plan on going with 14" wheels instead of going the cheapest route. They DO NOT fit without at least 1.5" Wheel spacers Ams pro radial in 26x9x12 www.amstires.com/products/?productId=174567

I found a set of 12x7 4x100 wheels for the justy so I can fit the tires to them. They are off of a Ford think, I will get backspacing measurements for you guys but the wheels fit great with no rubbing front or rear.

Those are exactly what I want to find! I can't find anything online that states that the bolt pattern is infact 4x100, the lugs fit pretty good but theres 2mm difference between 4x4 lug pattern and 4x100. Id like to know for sure. A Friend of mine says its so close it won't matter.

Update on the wheels, they are 4x4 lug spacing, not 4x100 as stated in the ebay ad. I'm going to buy some "wobble bolts" to make them work but I will get hub centric spacers made to go from justy to ford think wheels.
