hello, I'm a new Justy owner. I have a 1000cc 1985 model. It barely reaches the 100km speed limit we have here in New Zealand, on a flat, straight road. Does that sound normal ?
cheers, steve

As I mentioned in my 1st post, it barely reaches 100kph and when put in 5th gear it actually slows down on a flat road. Is the engine toast ? Car has 176k on the clock. Something seems odd but maybe it is all normal and I am just expecting too much ? Anyone... ? cheers, steve

Should be able to cruise comfortably at 130... and 140+ is not out of site.
Something is up, from clogged cat to poor timing, or low compression or or or.
