It has been a while since I was on. Before, I had no spark and finally got that to work, I still have no fuel getting through the injectors. I took everything apart and I am not getting fuel into the fuel rail. I have two questions I really need help with.
1. Does the fuel in line go to the top or bottom tube on the fuel rail. I have fuel going into the bottom rail but not getting into the actual rail. (this is how I found it as someone previously worked on it so it may be wrong)
2. Do fuel rails ever go bad? I blew compressed air into both lines. The top one (I assumed return line) does blow air into the injector holes. The bottom one, I have fuel running into, does not make it through the long tube into the actual rail.

Without going to look I can tell you that the fuel supply line is slightly larger than the return.

It is the line that does not enter the regulator.

How often do fuel rails go bad? I think the regulator that pulls vacuum from the intake is frozen. I can pull a vacuum on it but is still never allows air to move through it.
So fuel usually goes into the fuel rail and the excess fuel goes back out via the vacuum operated regulator to the return? Can I hook them up backwards? Would it run that way or would it ruin my fuel pump? I can see if it was hooked up backwards (fuel going in through the short tube with the regulator on top) that fuel would get to the injectors but it would have no way to "vent" the excess pressure back to the return.
Should I just buy a new rail? Thank you.
