Hi, I have just got my 3rd Justy, but it's more like my 2nd. I had an 1990 H reg Justy 1.2 GL II when I was 17, but it met an untimely end when it slid off the road. I then bought a red Justy in January, on ebay, which I got a garage to collect, but it was so bad they had to sell it on. I have now bought this Justy, a 1994 M reg 1.2 Si. Since I bought the car without a MOT i got it MOT'd, so it needed some welding and the exhaust repaired. However I have someother faults I'd like to correct.. The steering is a bit vague and vibrates a little at speed. I would have put this down to track rod ends or a ball joint, but it could actually be a rack fault or UJ's on the steering column. My other fault is the clutch which appears to be slipping a little under load, so I need a new clutch. Has anyone used this clutch: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121626276808?euid=b885973cc8044ddd9578bd9199c6d9d2&cp=1 I have always thought that the suspension should be firmed up a bit to improve handling, but it seems that options are limited, but if anyone has suggestions please let me know. Pic Thanks, Ewan

Welcome! Well it definitely looks great, but I as well have the vague steering in my '88. I did remove the wheel covers from my '91 when I had it though. Helped it go faster. nice ride!!!

Thanks, what do you mean by remove the wheel covers? The wheel trims or the wheel arch liners or mud guards?
Thanks, Ewan

The little plastic pieces of shit they use to put onto the wheels to make them look pretty haha Actually, as far as wheel covers go.. .. .. those "Factory " wheel covers are of the best quality I have seen in many decades around cars. They stay on no matter what and never break! Nothing like having your wheel covers pass you every time you go around a corner. For fun some time, watch the Charger in the movie "Bullit" with McQueen. It comes with 4 but manages to loose 7 or 8 in the same chase scene!

Yeah the wheel covers are pretty decent, they take a bit of effort to take off too. Well I thought I'd update a bit.. I've just put my Justy back into active service since my other Subaru needs to wait for parts from Japan. I've got to say it's a great wee car. No power steering, no traction control, no ABS, makes it a great drivers car, with so much feedback. It's also great fun nipping along the country lanes... Anyway took some a picture and video for fun. Looking to make it just right and want to replace some of the pipes in the engine bay etc.
