I have a few Subaru parts & projects ,the engine in question at the moment is the EF12 that is in a 1994 new Zealand 4x4 justy ECVT.I acquired the car after apparently is was changed from 2wd to 4wd on the move & now the transmission wont drive.
question 1 : will this transmission be terminal ( beyond economical repair ) ?
question 2 : what are the chances this engine will fit into a Subaru domingo 4x4 van/chassis/buggie build I also have ?I have noticed that the intake & exhaust are on opposite sides ,is the head reversible on the block ?
question 3 :dusty's justy's page says that the 3cylinder engine is a brother sister to the Suzuki G series engines ,I also have a Suzuki SJ413 that requires a engine & was doing research into fitting the EF12 in that vehicle
all & any advise ,opinions & help is greatly appreciated

Welcome!
1. Need more info, "not moving" isn't very descriptive.
2. I think the engines share similarities but I don't believe they interchange as a whole.
3. The Subaru EF12 has nothing in common with the Suzuki G10 engines, other than they are both 3 cylinders.
