Just found on my computer some pictures of my (now sold) '88 4x4. Here it is volunteering at the Cheraw Sandblast Rally where it served well for the '09 - '12 events and was always a big hit with the largely Subaru enthusiast volunteer force.
And here it is a couple of years ago playing in some snow -
We left the first tyre tracks in the snow climbing this dirt road near Ceaser's Head N.C., and used the chainsaw to cut a Justy-sized passage in this fallen tree - We proceeded to laughing smugly soon afterwards when we saw a lifted Land Rover going that way in the downhill direction. (OK maybe that was a little selfish) [/a] And I do seem to recall a few Ken Block style donuts occurring in this intersection not long after this pic was snapped - Good times
