Just wanted some opinions from those who have experience. In your honest opinion would you go with 12" or 13" wheels on your justy. I have an 88 2dr 4wd 5sp that came with the factory 12s and a set of 13s. The 13's are currently installed and they seem to perform ok with out binding but they are due for new tires. So thats what brings up this question. If you guys had the choice would you go 12 or 13 inch. I'm thinking about 12" cause I also have the spare but I seem to be having a problem finding some in my area North Cackalacky. O I will add in there too that I just plan on driving this thing normal for now with the possibility of some fun in snow this winter if there is snow this winter here.

It's going to be nearly impossible to find 12" tires in the states. 13" are easier to find, but are only getting harder to locate.
I'm not sure about all seasons, but last time I checked tirerack.com had 13" winterforce cheap.
So I'd strongly encourage going with 13's, maybe even consider 14's.

Ok, I can find 13's. Now lets say I go with 14's will I have to lift the suspension? I havent experienced it, ive only driven on flat asphalt, but the previous owner said these 13's would scrub if the suspension was bottomed out.

You won't have to lift it, but you may need to do a little trimming, rolling of the fenders. Low profile is a must if you intend to fit 14's.
Really, if you can find good tires 13's are ideal, it gets a bit sluggish if you go bigger.
It's a little odd that the 13's scrub, but those are pretty tall. Also the wheel offset could be the culprit since they're not stock justy 13's. It may be to aggressive pushing the tire towards the fender.

I would also go with the 13s for regular driving purposes.
As for 12s - does anyone know for sure if they will fit over GL / 4/5 door brakes? The auto parts store catalogs are saying the brakes depend on what size wheels it came with, which is making me think they won't, but I am curious. I want to buy a set of 12s (let me know if you decide to sell yours!) to put offroad tires on for playing around on occasionally but I can't find any solid info that says they will either fit my car or not fit my car.
