I'm in the middle of replacing the oil seals in my '94 DL. Want to replace the valve stem seals while I still got the engine out of the car. Doesn't look like a hard job, but I've been surprised before, so thought I'd ask. Will there be any issues i might face?

the keepers of the valve train.
it's fairly easy once you get the springs off. if you don't plan on removing the head you might want to get a cheap compression tester with an air fitting so you can apply pressure to the cylinder to keep the valves seated.
i used a socket to press mine on to keep from damaging the seal.

dont do the shop air method its tricky and nerve racking.
take some 1/4in or smaller rope, and feed it into the spark plug hole with the piston about half way up the compression stroke. Make sure theres enough outside the head to tie off to something...i mean like yards of rope...tie it off to like your tool box or a wheel. Once tied off, SLOWLY rotate the motor over until the rope touches the head. make sure theres a tiny bit of pressure. now, when you take off the retainers the valves will drop but only a hair into the combustion chamber. now you have a worry free setup.
