I am looking to replace some (or all) of the vacuum hoses on and around the carburetor, and i was hoping that someone has done this in the past and knows the different sizes that would be needed. I would like to buy more at a time online and not sure if metric or standard sizes are going to be best, I'm guessing Metric but not sure if i can get that here in the states as easily. Any information would help me out!
Thanks guys
-Jared

I've done it but I can't give you an answer as all I did was go to my mom and pop auto parts store and guesstimate how much i needed. It wasn't a lot of money.

Did you buy different sizes? And was the standard vs metric an issue for you?
Thanks for the response!

I did use different sizes. I really couldnt tell you if it was metric or english as my autoparts store has them on a roll and I just took a couple of yards of fuel line as it was all rotted, and a few feet of the smaller lines. I just matched them up.

Upon further examination and research, I have discovered that it might be the differential gears. The rest of the transaxle appears to be in good shape, except for where thr output shaft turns the differential basket. I'm looking to get just the broken parts replaced, not the whole transaxle, which is going to be difficult. Any help will be appreciated.

OMG it lives! This is so awesome you are here! Okay, we had pretty much ruled out anything other then dif and later... so you are on track. Where are you? somebody has to have a spare transmission floating around to send you some junk. Not sure in the next few weeks I will have time for that sort of thing.... but let me know. Send us pics! we (I) want to see the carnage! Here's the original thread... subarujusty.proboards.com/thread/5826/throw-out-bearingMaybe start a new, or carry on there.
