Hey, so I recently swapped from an ecvt to a 5spd tranny, which meant I swapped the tranny, rear dif, engine wiring harness, dash wiring harness, and under carpet harness all the way to the back.
Pretty much everything was plug and play so I wasn't too concerned.
All the wiring harnesses are from the same car and I can confirm that everything worked before I transferred them over to this new car.
When I went to fire it up for the first time, I just got ONE 'click' sound from under the dash, a 'click click click' sound from under the hood and when I let off the key, a final small, faint click coming from under the dash again.
My headlights worked and horn.
So to simplify matters, I took the dash back out and removed the harness from the dash and installed the harness back into the car all by itself so I could see what was going on.
THIS TIME, I get nothing, except one front signal light was on constantly. I thought maybe I forgot something, but everything seems to be plugged into it's proper connection.
I try once more, and the car is completely dead. No horn, no signal light, no 'clicks' no anything..
