hey every body I'm new to this for but i am not new to Subarus. I have an 02' WRX and a 91' Justy! A few months back my rear right axle went out as well as the bearings, seals and even my hub was damaged. I need a new hub and axle ... I have a 5speed with the 4wd option and I have had no look looking for a replacement axle and hub. Does anyone know where i can find these. I contacted my local Subaru dealership and they said that they were back ordered on axles until august (this year( and they said that it would be about $30 alone for one axle!!!! Any body have any idea or know any custom axle shops in so cal??? Does anyone one know where i can buy a hub??? I've check various junk yards, even an all Japanese one and they only had 2wd version of the Justy.

#1 You multi-post, AKA spam, AKA pain to follow, I wouldn't respond either #2 Your already complaining about $30 for an axle, which is a steal but I doubt it is that price. #3 Your asking for custom axles for a Justy, you realize these are over $500 for a set usually and I doubt anyone makes Justy axles in the first place. #4 You found your own answer after searching which you should have done, then you tell us we are ignorant for not answering your question. If you searched and could not find then post but that didn't look like the case here. There are many mechanics, machinists and tuners on this forum, don't have ignorance yourself and they may come help

Its not ignorance, its just annoying when people clog up forums with cross-posts that only confuse people using the SEARCH button. C'mon, poor form in 2011. Moving in a forward direction, $30 for an axle is a bargain from the dealership. On the rear the "hub" is built into the drum, right? It's been awhile since I had mine apart to replace a leaky wheel cylinder. And here's the link to the Justy clearance parts on Rockauto: www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1269187&m=wc&l=en&html=trueCurrently only Gen I front CVs, but I think they're all the same on Gen IIs? Your 1991 is a Gen II Justy. I bought an axle from O'Reilly's for ~$60. I wrote an install guide, check it out. Don't forget to buy a new Spindle Nut Hardware Kit. You're supposed to replace the conical washer, spacer, and nut each time you take the axle off. This may be overkill, but the odds are good that the hardware has never been replaced, and since it costs $5 and prevents all sorts of CV axle and bearing issues, go ahead and do it. This forum needs more active members, instead of people who just come looking for quick answers when they're in a bind. Welcome!, now post up some pics of the Justy and your Subaru posse.

you're supposed to be a mod, rather than posting shit like that just do your job and delete his other threads.
this is why people think you're a douche bag.

It is my job to not delete his other posts actually. If deleting annoying posts were part of a moderator's job then you would be a 1-star member. Capicé? Also, people don't think I'm a douche bag; people think you are a douche bag.

Isn't it a moderators job to delete multiple posts and make sure one of the multiple goes into the right category? And then spank the offender and send him to his room without dinner?

no its not that, i just farclein hate seattle justy. he rags on people that want to mod a justy and is unhelpful with normal questions then tries to be the savior of the justy community when its not his time of the month. its comical and pathetic at the same time. and the reason i antagonize him is cause as i said, i hate him.

I don't rag on people that want to modify their Justys. I do try to discourage people from ignoring the real problem and making it worse ala push button ignition start or manual fan switch or rinky-dink choke cables etc. If left alone the Justy is a fantastically reliable car as eloquently stated by Mavis yesterday. If somebody knows what they're doing then of course the Justy can be modified and even improved upon as evidenced by the handful of people around here that have bushed their front covers/oil pumps. As far as me being unhelpful with normal questions, I just reread my last twenty posts and fourteen of them were answering questions/educating or offering up praises to other helpful members who have something better to do than to slander others. Come to Seattle some time, I'll take you out for lunch, my treat. We have excellent food over here:)

he rags on people that want to mod a justy I often discourage people from their mod ideas because they are incomplete and unsafe. The Justy is an economy sub-compact with braking, suspension, and drivetrain systems to match. When people get on here talking about turbos and WRX engine transplants they never mention brake, suspension, or drivetrain upgrades. Without upgrading the rest of the control systems on the car a lot of the mod ideas are just dangerous and shouldn't be encouraged. The Justy already has a problem of stripping hubs with just the stock power output. People that can do this level of modification correctly don't need to come on this board and ask questions. The ones that do come on here with these ideas need real information about what they are proposing, if that is ragging then so be it.

Very well-stated ferox ...re-creating the Justy into some high-hp racing monster defies logic in the first place...it's a light-weight diminutive-structured economy car...period...full stop.
