I have an '88 Justy, the front wiper motor is burnt out. The rear one is not. Are these interchangeable? Or do I need to purchase a new motor for the front? I ask because right now cash is tight and I can't really afford to purchase a new motor (unless I someone find a buyer for my iPod). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know what is wrong with your front motor? The front and rear are not interchangeable, but 9 times out of 10 you can just fix your old one. Take it apart and look for the obvious. The motors seldom burn out, it's usually the two dragging contacts on the spinning plate that get all gummed up. If not, it could be a circuitry or relay issue. Get it apart, take some pics and I'll see if I can help. Unless of course it started smoking or something. Terry

yea, i managed to repair on both of my justys the rear wiper motor... the brushes went off and it was just a matter of placing them in the place... although in one case i got a motor that was fully blocked by some kind of rust and the wiper hand couldn't rotate at all... although the motor worked fine...
