hi all new to this forum and picked up a justy for 100 quid (british pounds).. thought it would be a bit of fun for the winter and make use of the 4wd down the slippy lanes etc it was a touch rusty and the old bird was on her way to the breakers with it so i fired up the welder and spent a few hours patching it up Attachments:

the seat belt mountings where a bit ... er loose so patched them and then attacked the inner arches the engine (bar a slight oil leak was sprightly for the 1.2 3cyl engine and i took it for a quick blast and it held its own against a 1.6 gti pug 205 supriseingly .. so i think im gonna tinker with it and see if i can do summink interesting lol ;D Attachments:

Salutations! Thats a very inconvenient spot for rust to form, of all the possibilities the cancer chose your seat belts, crafty! Nice patch work, looks solid. How is the rest of the car, how is the exterior? Put up some pictures of your beast! They are definitely peppy little cars, beware of low oil pressure which plagues most Justy engines, as it will usually require a full engine rebuild to get'er back on the road. Most of us have gone to a mechanical oil pressure gauge, as the oil warning light on your dash is triggered at ~3psi (.2 bar) and that rarely gives you time to fix anything.

yeah rust isnt something i get 2 botherd about as welding is theraputic lol all 4 corners where a tad rotten and the zorst was like a tea bag so i fabricated a new one which was a bit more tricky than i thought as the bends are quite precise . i kept the pipework under 2" as the 3cyl lump needs all the back pressure it can get the interior is emaculate and standard ..the exterior had a few minor dents but im not that worried as shes going to be fully mat black soon and becomeing a 2 seater any ideas whats causeing the oil pressure issues ? i will get more pics up
